Cordierra Salad review by Michellelongobardo
This is still my absolute favorite salad in Pasadena hands down. It is crunchy and slightly sweet and savory and the breaded chicken tastes like my moms homemade chicken cutlets. It is always fantastic as well. I have never had it even off a little. It's delicious every time and I have ordered many times.

We moved to Pasadena when I was very little but I never went to Marston's until last week! Well into AARP age! My dad raved about the oatmeal - said he could never make it so good! And I loved the omelet. Was also charmed to be sitting underneath a painting done by one of my parochial school classmates' mom, Kathleen Dooling. All in all, great service, great food, great ambiance. But I have to say the parking lot is a bit cramped! My only complaint!

I've lived in Pasadena for a couple of years and spent about six months in the South (Tennessee) for a change of pace. My experience there was it was a warm place with southern charm, hospitality, great food, and even better people. Marston's is one of my favorites for this exact reason! They really capture the same feelings for me, like a warm hug with delicious brunch. I got the blueberry pancakes when I was there last and they were divine! Fluffy, fresh berries, just delish. Highly recommend coming on a nice sunny weekend for a late morning brunch. Just make sure to grab a reservation first!
